The cinch top is expansive, and the wide mesh side pockets with adjustable straps can fit everything from a Nalgene water bottle to shoes to beach towels. The mesh also lines the side of the backpack itself, hence the River Bag moniker—wet gear can air out with ease regardless of where you stash it. The Blackhole Tote Pack is everything you’d expect from Patagonia’s legendary line of unbreakable bags, and a couple things you might not.
